While continuing to aim for higher speed and capacity, Hitachi is pursuing a smoother and more comfortable ride in its elevators by controlling vibration and reducing noise levels.
Vibration in high-speed and large capacity elevators is reduced by a mechanical damper system to control the elevator's vertical vibration, and active control guiding equipment to control horizontal vibration of the elevator cabin.

The top and bottom of elevator cabins are designed aerodynamically to reduce air-cutting noise. In addition, a double-layered structure is used for the exterior of elevator cabins to enhance the sound insulation of high-speed elevators.
